The Farm at Carolina Forest In-ground Swimming Pools Last week a notice was sent to many residents in The Farm at Carolina Forest about in ground swimming pools. The Farm at Carolina Forest community restriction prohibit resident from having their own swimming pools. It appears someone from outside the HOA is trying to change the HOA pool restriction. Someone will start to go door to door asking residents in The Farm to sign a petition to support the restrict rules for in ground swimming pools be changed. Obviously every residential home in The Farm at Carolina Forest will not have the room within the property setbacks and not everyone is willing to pay to have an inground swimming pool on their lot. Many other Carolina Forest residential communities offer there resident the opportunity to have an in-ground swimming pool.

I have 4 kids that are involved with the Myrtle Beach State Park's Wildlife Programs. We have enjoyed many Myrtle Beach outings at the Beach creating Sandcastles and digging holes. This past week a Sea Turtle in Florida was looking to lay her nest on the Beach and was trapped in what many think of as a harmless hole dug by kids at the Beach. Another common problem is the clear plastic bag that blows away from your lunch on the Beach and lands into the water. Later this plastic bag can be eaten by the Sea Tuttle when the Turtle thinks the plastic bag is a Jelly Fish.

The Sea Turtle nesting season is underway and even if you do not own a Myrtle Beach Oceanfront home or Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Condo we could use your help keeping the Beaches clean for the next group of visitors.

Something incredible to think about is a Sea Turtle that hatches this year will wait about 20 year before she returns back to our Beaches and has her nest.
